'Montblanc' virgin wool stretch flannel suiting - persimmon

From Italian designer deadstock, this is a gorgeous virgin wool flannel suiting with a small percentage of elastic, providing about 10% stretch in the width only with perfect recovery. It is an opaque, medium-light suiting weight with some body in the drape. The face shows a defined twill weave whereas the reverse has the appearance of a plain weave, but either side could be used as the face. It has a soft hand and a flannel texture. The overall impression of the color is a persimmon, created by a blend of lighter and darker fibers in the persimmon color family (PANTONE 18-1248). The face is slightly lighter and more yellow than the reverse which is a more orange hue. Exquisite quality and perfect for fitted trousers, tailored jacket, suiting, dress, skirt, etc. Dry cleaning recommended.
